Typography workshop at ECV
Experimental alphabet inspired from the diaphragms that are designed to
regulate the penetration of light into the building of Institut du Monde
Arabe. The unique use of high-tech photosensitive mechanical devices to
control light levels and transparency (Architect: Jean Nouvel)
Futur(s) en Seine. A stop motion animation created using close up photograpy
Cirgram (True Type) was created during a typography workshop at ECV Paris.
The main concept was inspired by the Chinese Tangram, but instead of using
rectangle system, I set the Tangram concept on a circle.

The end result can appear to be so experimental that perhaps it will seem
illegible but legibility is dependent on what we are used to reading
and so when I introduce something new it will be less legible for a while,
or at least until the viewer gets familiar with it
